This striking jar represents late 18th century Massachusetts redware in form and decoration.
This jar was thrown and stands 11 ½ tall with a girth of 9 inches in diameter.
The form is copied from the south-eastern area and the decoration, found in our earliest Essex County
potteries, was also done in other locations throughout Massachusetts and New England.
Truly, this is a striking piece that is lead-free and functional for your home.
